Technicians
Rebecca Munger, CVT
Lead Technician
Rebecca received her Associates degree from
Bel-Rea Institute in 2001. In October of 2006, she became a team
member at PCAC, and then in February the following year became our Lead
Surgery Technician. After three years in that role, Rebecca is now our
Lead Technician and also helps with training future veterinary technicians
who intern here from Bel-Rea Institute. She also has a strong interest
in dog behavior and has enjoyed teaching the puppy class with Shelly for the
last two years. Outside of PCAC, Rebecca loves hiking with her dogs,
gardening, reading, writing short stories, singing, and being with family
and friends.

Katie Dandurand, CVT
Katie has been a proud member of the PCAC team since early 2009. She has a passion for surgery and anesthesia, and
can be found most days taking care of the clinic's surgery patients as
one of our main surgery technicians. When not
at PCAC, Katie spends her free time rock and ice climbing with her husband
Dale. Katie also helps care for a growing "fur family" at home which
includes Misha the Samoyed, Choss the Australian Shepherd, cat Zoey, a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats
and Suri alpacas, as well as a variety of other
livestock.
Jenni Miller, CVT
Jenni graduated from Bel-Rea
in June of 2006. After graduating, she went into emergency and
critical care medicine for three years. In October of 2009, she joined
the PCAC family where she took an interest in dentistry. She is
looking to become specialized in dentistry. In her spare time, she
likes to spend time with her friends and family - including her four-legged
kids, dogs Patches, Onyx, and Keylala, and horse Shasta. Even though
she is accident prone, Jennie loves the outdoors and enjoys playing
softball, riding horses, riding quads, hiking, camping, and just being
outdoors.
Sarah Cooke, CVT
Sarah went to college for Wildlife Biology at
Colorado State University and then became a certified veterinary technician
after graduating from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. She loves to
hike, camp, fish, ride ATV's snowshoe and dance. She enjoys archery,
forestry, ecology, first aid, and astronomy. She and her husband, David, spend most
of their time hanging out with their families, fixing up their house, and
setting up for weddings (David is a DJ). Sarah and David recently
welcomed their daughter, Kristen, into their family. Sarah is loving
being a mom and can't wait to keep her family growing.

Amy Flaska, CVT
Amy graduated from Colby Community College
with her Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in May of
2010. She previously worked at a small animal clinic in Kansas for
four years before moving to Colorado. Amy and her husband Skylor have
two dogs, Bo and Bailey, and one cat, Hemi. In her free time, she
enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, card making,
scrapbooking, and enjoying life.

Michele Laughlin,
AAS, CVT
Michele is a Colorado native who began her veterinary career in 1990 as an
office manager and veterinary technician in Platteville, CO. After
working in Arizona for 10 years she returned to Colorado in 2004. She
became a certified technician in 2007 after graduating from Bel-Rea.
Michele originally worked at PCAC from 2007 through 2009 when she had to
take a hiatus for knee surgery. She rejoined us in January of 2011.
She is currently the President of the Colorado Association of
Certified Veterinary Technicians (CACVT). She has been married to
Michael for 32 years, has 2 children (Matthew and Mallori) and one
grandchild, Michael who is 2. She also shares her house with 3 dogs, 3
cats and 3 horses. She manages to find time to enjoy gardening,
reading, sports, and time with her family.

Shelley
Primasing, CVT
Shelley grew up on a ranch in
California and moved to Colorado to pursue her passion for animals.
She recently graduated from Bel-Rea with an associates of applied science
degree in animal technology. She enjoys riding horses, spending time
outdoors, and hanging out with her cat Cavalli, as well as her corn snake
and chameleon.

Maria
Velazquez, AAS
Maria was born in San Juan,
Puerto Rico where she attended high school and went to Unisersidad
Metropolitana (Metropolitan University). She moved to Colorado in 2006
to attend the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. While in school,
she did volunteer work at the Denver Dumb Friends League (DFL). She
joined PCAC in 2008 after receiving her associates degree.

Addison Lawrence, AAS
PCAC is happy to welcome Addison to our team.
Addison started here as a Bel-Rea intern and when he graduated, joined the
PCAC team full-time in 2011. Addison may be a Denver native but he
loves to travel the world. When he's not being Dubstep DJ, that is!
His home audience consists of this 3 dogs, Oreo, Koty, and Daisy.

Megan Ryan, CVA
Megan, better known as Meg, is a Colorado
native currently living in Parker. Her dog Ralph and two cats Sammie
and Turbo share their house with Meg and her fiance Nick. Two years
ago, Meg earned her certification in veterinary assisting and
would like to work on become a CVT. She joined PCAC in 2011 and has
enjoyed her time here immensely.

Amy Trout
Amy
is originally from Colorado
and recently moved back after a short stay in Florida where she earned her
degree in Zoo Animal Technology. This experience allowed her to work
with zoo animals, local wildlife, and marine mammals. After moving
back to Colorado she earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Amy
joined PCAC in 2011 and has enjoyed her time here. In her free time,
she likes to go horseback riding, camping, hiking, east coast swing dancing,
and spending time with her husband Joel and two dogs, Luna and Toby.
Receptionists
Shelly Modak
Lead Receptionist
Shelly has been with PCAC since early 2005 as
a receptionist and also teaches our puppy classes. Shelly and her
husband, Mike, get to live in their homes with their dogs, Shawnie and
Hudson, their cats, Meanie, Minnie, Moe, and Pistol, and their horses, Cody, Duke, and Buddy.

Lisa Morehead
Lisa and her husband Michael share their home
with two cats, Snickers and Mischief, and a recently rescued Sheltie named
Maggie. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, reading, and her
newly acquired skill - quilting.

Jackie Jeter
Jackie joined the PCAC team in
2011 after graduating with her Bachelor's degree in History. She
currently lives in Aurora with the fiance Scott, 2 cats Amelia and Kiara,
and a California King Snake named Crown. Jackie enjoys photography,
history and is a certified open water scuba diver.

Yvette
Weeks
Yvette recently moved to Colorado from
California after visiting and realizing how much she loved the state!
She joined PCAC in late 2011 and looks forward to growing and learning with
the great staff and clients. She has worked as a foster mom for the
Basenji Rescue and ended up adopting two "fur kids", LD and Jubilee.
She enjoys spending her time with her fiance, Edward, and exploring the
Colorado outdoors.
Administration

Kelly Motichka,
Hospital Manager
Kelly loves working at PCAC because of all
the great people she gets to interact with (clients and staff)! She grew up
in Monument, Colorado, and graduated from Colorado State University - which
is where she and Dr. Mark Motichka met. They have two kids, a son, Carter,
who is 7 years old, and a daughter, Macy, who is 6 years old. They
both want to be veterinarians when they grow up. Outside of PCAC, Kelly
loves to read, bake, and spend time with family.

Jillian Varnold
Office Manager
Jillian is a Colorado and Douglas County
native. She graduated from Colorado State
University in 2006 with a degree in Zoology even though her husband refused
to let her work with wild animals. She and her husband,
Josh, have a three year old daughter/princess, Madelaina who they think is the
smartest 3-year old ever. They have
one cat, Jasmine, who thinks she runs the house. Jillian enjoys
reading, shopping, chasing after Madelaina, and eating cannoli.
