Our staff are friendly and caring.  Our doctors are often seen on the floor of an exam room interacting with pets (and kids).  Our doctors all have kids of their own and enjoy including the whole family in their pet’s care.  We are here to walk with you through decisions big and small during all your pet’s life stages.

PCAC Veterinarians
Besides being awesome vets…

Mark S. Motichka, DVM
Dr. Mark Motichka is an easy-going perfectionist (is that possible?).  His laid back manner puts pets and people at ease, while his tendencies toward perfectionism are an asset during surgery.  He enjoys being a veterinarian because of the personal relationships he gets to build with clients as well as their pets.  Some of those relationships go way back since he was raised here in Parker, and even graduated from Ponderosa High School before going on to Colorado State University (CSU - the best school in the state!).

Dr. Motichka is the owner and medical director of PCAC.  In addition to general medicine, he has special interests in ultrasound and surgery - including laparoscopic surgery and Tightrope CCL repair.  He and his smokin' hot wife Kelly (his words) are joined at home by their son Carter, daughter Macy, and black Lab Cyan.  When he’s not taking care of animals, he is likely coaching his kids’ sports teams or enjoying his other passion – wildlife photography.  His incredible photos are displayed throughout our hospital.

James Noone, DVM
Dr. Jim Noone is wise and experienced, anything that comes in, he has likely seen before.  He is never spotted without his cup of coffee in hand, and is happy to lean back and tell stories about growing up on the farm.  His kids (Jodi, Kimberly, Mike, and Casey) are grown, and he and his amazing wife Tonya have lots of furry kids at home: Gus – a St. Bernard from CO St. Bernard Rescue, Bianca – a Boxer/Lab mix, Diesel – a Min Pin, and Tommy Cat.

Dr. Noone graduated in 1977 from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine (K State) and then completed an internship at CSU.  He served as president of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association in 1998.  His experience and interests are too vast to list them all, but they include ultrasound and dentistry in addition to general medicine.

Greg Dobkin, DVM
Dr. Greg Dobkin is goofy and personable.  If there are practical jokes being played – it is likely done by him or done to him.  He is an excellent veterinarian and especially enjoys internal medicine and laparoscopic surgery.  Dr. Dobkin does great presentations on pets and veterinary medicine to kids in preschool and elementary school – he relates well to that age.  We’re not sure what that says about him, but we still enjoy working with him.

After completing his undergraduate schooling at the best school (CSU), he received his DVM from K State in 2005.  He and his gorgeous wife Erin are joined at home by their son Connor, daughter Sydney, and furry kids Cam – Boxer/Lab mix, Guinness – chocolate Lab, and Tulo – Boxer.  He is a huge sports fan and loves rooting for the Av’s and CSU Rams and coaching and playing soccer.

Heather Toyne, DVM
Dr. Heather Toyne is caring and kind.  She was raised in Oklahoma and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University in 2010.  After graduating, she completed a rigorous internship at Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Tucson.  Her focus was emergency medicine but she also received training in internal medicine, ophthalmology and dermatology.   She has also grown to love dentistry.

Heather and her wonderful husband, Casey, enjoy hiking and backpacking.  Her cat, Babydoll, earns her keep by catching bugs and being adorable.  She also enjoys keeping a pair of noisy zebra finches, Penelope and Bart.
