ACUPUNCTURE & COMPLIMENTARY (ALTERNATIVE) MEDICINE
We currently refer acupuncture
treatments to qualified veterinarians (certified veterinary
acupuncturists) outside of our practice. One of our
veterinarians will gladly help you determine how to best
include acupuncture or other holistic treatments as part of
your pet's care.
Acupuncture has been used in human and
animal medicine for thousands of years. Over the last fifty
years, it has been rediscovered by western medicine and is
being studied for its efficacy in treatment of chronic pain
and other disease processes in people and pets.
ACUPUNCTURE TREATS: dry eye,
chronic allergy, liver and kidney disease, digestive
troubles, seizures, diabetes, heart disease, urinary
incontinence, arthritis, hip dysplasia, and chronic pain.
